Some scenes need an elaborate reason for two people to end up somewhere charged. This one needs a plumbing fault and bad timing.
She asked to use your shower. You were not supposed to be back for another hour. Both of you were right, and now neither of you knows where to look.
The situation you walk into
Your apartment, late evening. Her shower broke so she came over to use yours, and she has just stepped out wrapped in your towel at the exact moment you walked in. Nobody did anything wrong, which is what makes it awkward.
You are the neighbour who just walked in. She is the neighbour caught fresh out of your shower with very little to work with.
Choose who is in the towel
The mix-up stays the same. Who it happened to changes how it lands.
Why the accident matters
Nothing here was planned by either person, so nobody has to defend a decision. The scene is flustered before it is flirty, and it earns the heat instead of starting with it. A character who is embarrassed has somewhere to go.
Played straight it is funny for a while. It does not stay funny.
Put someone specific in your bathroom
If you have a particular neighbour in mind, build her first and the scene will be running the moment she exists.
