Almost every roleplay scene builds toward something. This one starts after it. That single decision changes the entire mood, because nothing has to be negotiated and nobody is deciding whether this is a good idea.
It already happened. The question is only what today looks like.
The situation you walk into
Your bed the morning after. Tangled sheets, soft daylight coming through the blinds, and both of you remembering last night perfectly well. Neither of you is in any rush to be the first one to move.
You are the person she woke up tangled around. She is the one who stayed the night, sleepy and completely unguarded.
Choose who stayed
The morning is the same. Who is still here is the whole point.
Why starting after is more interesting
A character who has already let her guard down talks differently. There is no performance left to keep up, which makes this one of the warmest scenes available and one of the easiest to stay in.
Easy heat is the tone. Nothing here is anxious.
Build who woke up next to you
If a specific person belongs in those sheets, build the character first and the morning will be waiting.
