Choose a kind of magic
Robes, cloaks, glowing orbs and a crystal-topped staff give this collection a clear magic theme. A blue-robed mage and a purple-cloaked wizard stand among books and candlelight, while a green-cloaked character carries a glowing staff in a stone tower courtyard. Use those details to choose the setting you would like to explore.
Introduce a mystery
You do not need an entire magic system before starting. A strange object or an unanswered question is enough: "I found a book with a symbol that glows after sunset. Can we investigate it together?" You can add rules for magic or describe a shared quest as the conversation develops.
These are fictional AI characters. The portraits suggest a starting scene, rather than a fixed plot or a promised set of magical abilities.
