Find a royal look
Crowns, jeweled headpieces and embroidered clothing establish the royal theme. Blue tunics and red capes sit alongside a white fur-trimmed coat and more elaborate robes. The palace backgrounds also vary, from stained-glass halls to stone archways. Choose the portrait that fits your idea of a courtly meeting.
Set the occasion
A palace invitation, a diplomatic visit or a chance encounter outside the hall can each lead to a different conversation. For example: "I have arrived at the palace with an invitation, but I do not know anyone at court. Will you show me around?" You can decide whether the scene becomes formal, playful or romantic.
